Mid-Autumn Festival(The 15th day of the eighth lunar month)

The traditional Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month each year. This is the middle of the autumn season, hence the name “Mid-Autumn Festival.” In the Chinese lunar calendar, the year is divided into four seasons, each further divided into Meng, Zhong, and Ji, hence the name “Zhongqiu.”
